Nate grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He was raised a Michigan fan and went to Ohio University. After graduating from OU with a finance degree he decided to move around a little bit and ended up in Charlotte, NC.
Susan grew up in Aurora, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University. Let’s just say Nate and Susan do not see eye to eye during football season. After graduating with an Early childhood degree Susan moved around a bit and ended up in Charlotte, NC
Nate and Susan first met at Nate’s house for some cornhole. Nate went to SC with two of his friends and Susan went on “elimidate” night with the boys. Who would have thought that the only boy who didn’t go that night she would be marrying. Susan and Nate worked together and had developed little crushes which soon blossomed into love …. and the rest is history.
Nate and Susan got engaged on their trip to Hawaii in April of 2009 and expect to wed September 2010. They are currently traveling around the U.S. with their two dogs Kala and Zeus until they wed next year. Kala who is a 60 lb lab mix and Zeus who is a 90 lb boxer. While they travel they will be trying to figure out where they belong and want to settle down after they get married. It’s an exciting, go by the seat of your pants trip … but don’t worry you can travel with them. They upload stories, pictures, videos and much more right here on their blog.
